I know, I know.… I'm like the worst blogger in the world. Haha it's only because I'm so busy doing other things. Like working, being with my husband, watching Mythbusters, buying a new house, packing, and working some more.
Yes, we bought a house closer to things we like and we move in like less than a week, even though I've been telling people it will be a while. Haha
Teaching is tough. Next week is one test, then we get a week break from tests, and then we do our last major test, and then we stay busy until the last day of school!! I can't believe we're down to only six weeks!!
I've also been doing some art and creating things. Not big like I used to, but I want to get back into elaborate drawings and maybe try some elaborate paintings. Which, then I would need to create an etsy so I could sell them instead of stockpiling all of my work!! Haha maybe I'll use some in the new place as art. Or it will turn like this house and I'll get so overwhelmed by decorating that I just won't do it. Haha
I'm sorry my blog is pretty much dead! I don't post because I don't know if people read or not and if no one reads, why post?
I hope everyone has a happy Friday!! I know I will!!! It's early release!!!!! Yay!!!!!!

Worst week
I'm sitting here at almost 4 in the morning because the rain woke me up from a very weird dream about Downton Abbey and another part that I can't really remember.
Yesterday was one of the WORST days in my teaching career. And today is looking like it might be as well.
I am an emotional person. Overly emotional. It's not good. Yesterday, something set me off crying and I couldn't stop. Do you know how hard it is to control that when you have 28 students depending on you? It was very close to impossible. Especially after I went to pick them up from music and found out they had messed around for 20 out of 30 minutes. They basically lost their recess because she made them owe 5 minutes and it took time to walk there and back.
All the rest of the day, the same students were talking all day long, which means I get to play musical desks… again. As we were going over their hw for the night, I had finally had it. I looked at the corner that had talked all day and said something I now regret. I told them they made me hate my job. I don't remember if I said them or the talking, but I was not happy. And that touched off another round of tears.
Our 'team' meeting is Thursday after school. We've had some issues which I won't go into, but we've had two teachers at school this week out of four. That means me and my neighbor are the ones carrying our team, and because of that, I know our scores are going to drop significantly this year. Anyways, one shows up for our meeting and tension just mounts until it finally explodes. I wanted to run out of the room to escape.
Today is not looking good. I'm awake because it's raining. I prayed and prayed for it to NOT rain. We are/were supposed to have track and field day today. I got everything done that I needed to yesterday. I have no clue what I'm going to do all day!! The kids may just get worksheets. I don't know what else to do.
So please, pray that at least at school I keep my sanity. Because if I have another day like yesterday, i will probably go insane.

Confessions
So, I've been working on typing my story up because I really want to get it published sometime.
It's going well. I can't wait until its done!! Halfway through what is handwritten.

New Year's Resolutions
I've been thinking of resolutions. I've never been good at making them (or any goal), let alone finishing them. (As you can tell by it being the 2nd before I write this post. Haha)
Here are three or four goals for this year.
1. Finish typing up my story and send it to a some publishers.
2. Exercise three to four days a week.
3. Read scriptures every day.
4. Be more decisive when J asks me for an opinion, especially for date nights.
I hope I'll be able to complete my goals this year!!

Merry Christmas and heading toward the New Year
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did!!
My favorite gift was my body pillow. So soft!!
I loved seeing the faces on everyone as they opened their gifts. And I love not having school for a whole week more!!!
Now it's almost the new year!! So exciting!!

Such a comfort at this time
I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along the unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
Till ringing, singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
And in despair I bowed my head
“There is no peace on earth,” I said,
“For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.”
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men.”
This song is one of my favorite Christmas hymns.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those in CT.

Ups and Downs
I have never felt so many ups and downs before in a short time period.
I'm stressed and then everything is fine. My students are great and then I want to slap some of them for acting up. I think I can survive my job until May, and then I want to quit and do something else before January.
I don't know what to do anymore. Tips on surviving life? Because I am fresh out of ideas.
