Post 200!!!

I thought I would do a post for my 200th post...

Sad that that is a big milestone for me. lol

Anyways, I thought I would do a small giveaway.

To celebrate my 200th post, you, my friends could win a painting or drawing done by yours truly. It can be anything from a picture you want recreated to a specific topic/subject of your choice.

Here are some of my recent doodlings and paintings. (The last one is currently in process.)

It's up to you what you want. This giveaway closes on Sunday evening at 6pm! Enter by posting in the comments what you would like me to create for you. Good luck!

Teaching

So far, teaching is going well. :) Each day I'm getting less likely to get frustrated, although there are always bad days.

On a plus, it's been a year and 2 months TODAY since I got married! I still love Jason with all my heart, which seems to get bigger each day. (In a good way. :p )

Here's a shout out for a good year in the making!!! :D

Creating

Have you ever just wanted to create something?

I feel the urge to create, but I have no idea what to create, how to create it, or when I'll have time.

I really want to write, but there's no time to sit and focus while I'm still getting into the teaching routine. I want to draw or paint or something, but I don't have the time or know what I want to create that way.

For now, I guess I'll just plug on through until I get some ideas.... Maybe I'll get creative and clean the house sometime......

Prep Time

So, there's like a week and a half until school starts, and there is no way on earth I am ready enough!!! There's so much to do! So many decisions to make!

I guess I should get off my lazy butt and get to work!

If anyone wants to help AT ALL..... by all means.... Contact me and I'll let you know when I'll be in the classroom! (I'll need all the help I can get....)

Grown-up

It sucks sometimes......

I'm gonna suck it up and pay the consequences......

Art

So I've always known I love art. I love to create things.

Recently I pulled out my art stuff that I got for Christmas from my amazingly wonderful husband, and I started painting! One day I hope to be good enough to sell some of my work. For now, I'll just practice. :)

Here is some of my work so far! I know they're sideways, so just bear with it. :P lol And it helps if you open them in a new window so that you can see the whole picture. :)
